This morning I went to the Caribe Nobo market because I heard they should have tons of beauty stuff. Well, it’s true, could have spend an hour there but I my limited time I found some nice products!
Nail polish of ‘J’ in colour Mademoiselle, a very nice, light pinky nude. Need three layers, it’s a little thin but love the shade!
Oil sun sublime of Dutch brand Keune, SPF 8 for hair and body. This stuff is amazing! Years ago, back in The Netherlands, I used to model for Keune and since then I use their products. It smells like summer, the shine on you skin is fabulous and it just works for both skin and hair. Personally I like it better on my skin. Earlier in 2014 I wrote a review on this product, it’s in Dutch and you can find it here!
Miss Manga Voluminous waterproof mascara of L’Oreal in Blackest Black and it does the job, nothing really spectacular.
Further I bought a Maybelline Babylips Dr.Rescue in Coral Crave (had it before and love the minty taste), an 8×4 deodorant (not interesting :-)) and a Pears soap bar. They just have so much stuff for hair, body, make-up, really, I think it’s the largest assortment on the island of Bonaire. Love it!
Lazy Sunday afternoon, time to treat myself with some quality time under a palmtree, a cup of tea, chocolate raisins and a new nail-polish. Long time ago I got some nice colours of the L’Oreal Color Riche polishes and I choose to take the colour ‘Moulin Rouge’ today. It’s bright red with an amazing gel-shine. Love it!
Yesterday I got a sweet little present of my dear friend Joyce. Look how cute this mini jar of Nutella is <3. Nailpolish is ‘Vintage Pink’ of DA.
And again, I did some new nailpolish and today I chose the colour 01 Hola Guapa of the Arriba! collection of Essence. This is a nice girly pink shade with a chalky matt finish. The finish is not really my favourite, but I kind of like for some days!
Finally I had some time for a little manicure again, and I choose the DA colour ‘Hot Coral’ and for topcoat the NYC Expert last in 155 ‘Gramercy Glitz’. In the background the Dutch ELLE magazine with Bonaire’s supermodel Soekie Gravenhorst at the cover!
On Bonaire we have a drugstore of the Dutch chain called ‘DA’ and their private label nail polish is quite good quality and cheap! For 9ml you pay about $5,- but for me it feels like the same quality as Chanel. Today I’m wearing the colour Hot Coral in three thin layers.
New year, new nail polish on my nails! Today I chose to wear Rouge Noir of Chanel, a classic! It’s blackish red or redish black. I wrote something about it almost 2 years ago, you can find it here, but it was a bad picture so here’s a picture of today!
About 2 days ago I had to do my nails again, so some shaping and polishing and this time I choose to use my nail polish called ‘Vintage Pink’ colour of Dutch drugstore brand DA. It’s really nice! The colour itself, the texture, the finish. It’s really cheap (about $4,50 for 9ml) but I don’t think it looks like that. I needed three layers for this result.
What do you think?
Even though I’m a horse girl, riding horses, cleaning horses and getting farm-work done, I’m remaining a girlie girl. So that means, at least my fingernails need to be in the best shape as possible and at least once a week I get myself a fresh nail polish.
This week I chose a Barbie pink colour with a neon pink topcoat. With flash-light it looks like this. The coat is from German brand Sabrina Rudnik (bought it for about $2) and the wetlook topcoat is from Dutch brand Hema (also cheap stuff) and actually i’m not really convinced about the result.
And without flash-light. What do you think? It’s two layers of the coat and 1 layer of topcoat.
